Welcome to my personal website. My name is Fardad Jabbary and I live in Montréal, Canada
I am currently a resident in Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery at McGill University. I am also a Software Engineer with research experience in Artificial Intelligence. I was the founder and main developer of an online collaborative company, Costa Core (no longer maintained).
I also previously worked for various companies, including Luxury Retreats (Airbnb).

Ultimately fascinated by the field of surgery, my research interests include innovative and hi-tech medicine, BCI, AI in healthcare and robotics, AR and VR in surgical training and clinical practice, multi-D simulations and multi-sensory feedback interfaces and motor function integration.
One of my recent projects: EPA Tool
I am also a certified Personal Trainer and a certified Nutrition and Wellness Specialist (licensed by CanFitPro). I have a passion for a healthy lifestyle and helping people adopt one: it doesn't have to be overwhelming, tasteless or boring; it just has to be educated and planned.
I have a deep interest in human anatomy and physiology. My other fascinations include the deep space as well as artificial intelligence. And more. I'm a curious person!
I also cherish humour and adore comedy and laughter.
I am a firm believer in a free world and global justice. To me, it is unbelievable with all the advancements in technology and a stockpile of drugs rotting in warehouses, poverty-stricken children are dying in millions every single year from malnutrition and preventable diseases; children die from hunger-related diseases in thousands on a daily basis. And all this in the 21st century.
I don't believe that it is also right that as a species, while many of us perish from starvation, we throw away nearly half the produce grown every single year! Things are never simple, of course, but with better and more efficient management we can strive to solve some of these issues.
These are some of the reasons behind a charity poverty-awareness website I have made in collaboration with some photographers from all around the globe: Kids Of Poverty. I sadly no longer maintain this website due to shortage of time - so it may not be accessible online anymore.
